The exam was conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education.
Over a dozen candidates were also arrested by the police for using unfair means in the exam. The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers was held at over 2,253 centres across the state. About 10 lakh candidates appeared in the examination. Keeping in view the security and confidentiality of the examination, internet services were restricted at many districts in the state.
